Puppet Heap is seeking a facilities manager who can provide leadership and coordination in building maintenance and safety, inventory management, vendor/supplier relations, and equipment upkeep.
Duties include:
- Maintaining continuous operation of all building systems, including: fire/life safety, mechanical, electrical, lighting, temperature controls systems, and alarm systems.
- Overseeing build-out, renovation, or construction performed by contractors.
- Repairing and maintaining tools and equipment.
- Arranging equipment in the shop to maximize employee efficiency.
- Evaluating and initiating energy efficiency programs.
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Reports to coordinator.

Assisting master builders in the building of puppets
Assisting the costume dept w/ basic repairs and builds
General shop maintenance (taking out the trash, sweeping, building shelves)
Assisting with production ship outs

If you are interested in exploring the world of marketing puppets to television, film, and advertising companies, I would encourage you to consider this internship.
Intern responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Assist with online guerilla marketing efforts and outreach
Write and develop content for press kits
Conduct online research to facilitate marketing strategies
Maintain marketing materials
Run the occasional errand
Interested applicants should submit a writing sample, a current resume, and any examples of previous marketing achievements.
This is a non-paid internship.
$25/day transportation stipend provided.
